Thank You!

A huge THANK YOU to all of you who worked so hard and spent so much of your time and energy to help pass Prop 102.

Arizona is now one of the 30 states where the people have spoken to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman in the state constitution. Today’s results show how simple and timeless values can unite people from all ethnic, religious, and political backgrounds.

Thank you to everyone who came together to support Prop 102 with your votes, time, and resources!

Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace!

It’s here! After a campaign season that seemed like it might never end, the elections are finally upon us. If you haven’t already voted by early ballot, you need to get to the polls and vote YES on Prop 102 today.

This is our opportunity to secure the definition of marriage here in Arizona, so speak now, or forever hold your peace. Prop 102 simply says: “Only a union of one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in this state.”

Obviously, casting your YES vote on Prop 102 is the most important thing you can do to help pass Prop 102 today. After you’ve done that, though, there are still ways to help encourage others to vote YES. If you have a YES on 102 yard sign, take it to your polling place and set it up outside of the 75-foot limit. Spend some time at your polling place asking others to vote YES on 102. Call or send emails to your friends and family reminding them to vote YES on 102.

If you’re headed to the polls today, here are some important reminders:
ID. You need to bring identification with you. If the address on your photo ID does not match your voter registration, you can bring two other forms of ID that show your name and address, such as utility bills, bank statements, or vehicle registration. For a complete list of acceptable identification, see the Secretary of State’s website.
Polling Places. If you don’t know where your polling place is, call your county recorder’s office or visit their website. (Click for: Maricopa County, Pima County)
Early Ballots. If you still have your early ballot, DO NOT MAIL IT. You can turn it in at any polling place. The polling places will have a specific drop box for early ballots, so you do not need to wait in line with those casting regular ballots.
Be Prepared to Wait. If there’s a line at your polling place, don’t be discouraged and decide not to vote.
Election Results. You can follow Prop 102 online tonight as results come in.

This is the Last Chance

There are only a few hours before polls open, and we are still short of our goal of reaching 100,000 Arizonans through our Tell-A-Friend email campaign. It's extremely important that we reach this goal. Election Day turnout will determine whether Prop 102 passes – and whether or not activist judges will be able to re-define marriage in Arizona like they have in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and California.

Please take a few minutes right now to help us reach our goal by visiting www.YesForMarriageTAF.com. It’s easy to use – but will have a big impact on the campaign.
